How to Skip a Dose and Save a Note in PeptideCalc

Dose Logs

Direct answer

Open the scheduled item's full Log Dose sheet, enter the note in Notes, expand Status Actions, and tap Mark Skipped. The note is saved with the skipped item.

Use the full Log Dose sheet when a skipped scheduled item also needs a note. The quick swipe action is useful for a status change, but it does not give you the Notes field first.

This records what happened in the app. It does not decide whether a dose should be skipped.

Scope: This page explains PeptideCalc controls and software workflows. It does not choose a medication, dose, liquid, syringe mark, preparation method, or administration technique. Use the product label and instructions from a licensed clinician or pharmacist to decide whether any input or result is appropriate. Only mark the status that matches what actually occurred.

These labels and steps were checked in the public PeptideCalc 2.7.7 app on .

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Step 1: Find the scheduled item

Open Schedule. Use Calendar if needed to choose the date containing the scheduled item.

  2. Step 2: Open the full Log Dose sheet

Tap Log Dose on the scheduled item instead of using a quick swipe status action.

  3. Step 3: Add the note

Scroll to Notes and enter the information you want kept with this scheduled item.

  4. Step 4: Expand Status Actions

Scroll to Status Actions and tap its header if the action buttons are collapsed.

  5. Step 5: Tap Mark Skipped

Tap Mark Skipped. PeptideCalc saves the scheduled item with skipped status and keeps the note you entered.

Questions about this PeptideCalc workflow

Why use the full Log Dose sheet instead of swiping?

Will the note be kept with the skipped item?

Yes. In PeptideCalc 2.7.7, Mark Skipped saves the current Notes value with that scheduled item.

Does skipping one dose change future schedule dates?

No. Mark Skipped changes the selected scheduled item and saves its note. It does not edit the schedule rule or move future scheduled dates.
