PeptideCalc product facts
Frequently asked questions
These answers distinguish the free browser tool from the separate paid iOS app and state what the software does—and does not—decide.
Product and pricing
What is PeptideCalc?
PeptideCalc.io provides a free single-vial browser calculator. Peptide Tracker Calculator is a separate iPhone and iPad app for calculations and user-entered protocols, schedules, dose logs, injection sites, inventory, and insights.
Is PeptideCalc free?
The browser calculator is free and does not require an account. The separate iPhone and iPad app was $4.99 as a one-time U.S. App Store purchase when reviewed on August 10, 2026, with no recurring subscription. Check Apple for current regional pricing.
Which platforms are supported?
The native app supports iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18.6 or later. PeptideCalc does not offer an Android or native macOS app. The free calculator works in a modern web browser.
Does PeptideCalc require an account?
No PeptideCalc account is required. Core records use local app storage by default, optional iCloud sync is available for supported app data, and Apple device backup, user-created exports, analytics, and diagnostics are disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
Calculations and records
What does the free browser calculator calculate?
It uses the vial amount, liquid volume, user-entered amount, and selected syringe size to calculate concentration, draw volume, and a syringe-unit marker for one vial at a time. It does not save protocols, support blends, or create schedules.
What does the iOS app track?
The app can store protocol details, schedule cadence and reminders, dose-log status, injection sites, inventory, symptoms, custom metrics, and related notes. PeptideCalc does not determine whether a medication, dose, administration site, rotation interval, or schedule is clinically appropriate.
Can PeptideCalc import a Shotsy export?
Not in the current public 2.7.7 App Store release. Shotsy CSV and .shotsyjson import is coming in PeptideCalc 2.7.9, with a preview, conversion warnings, and merge-only behavior rather than a replace-all action.
Can PeptideCalc read Apple Health data?
The iOS app can optionally read supported Apple Health biometrics for Insights using read-only HealthKit access. Imported samples stay device-local and are excluded from PeptideCalc iCloud Sync, app-created backups, and exports. Apple-managed device backup and restore is separate.
Scope, privacy, and availability
Does the app work offline?
Core calculations and local recordkeeping work without an internet connection. App Store installation, optional iCloud sync, optional Apple Health background updates, and some support features require Apple or internet services.
How does PeptideCalc protect privacy?
The app does not require a PeptideCalc account and stores most data locally by default. Optional iCloud and Apple Health features use Apple services. The website uses self-hosted aggregate analytics, while the app uses limited analytics and crash diagnostics described in the Privacy Policy.
Does PeptideCalc verify that an input or result is correct?
No. PeptideCalc applies deterministic formulas to the values supplied by the user. It cannot verify a vial label, detect every inappropriate input, or decide whether an amount, concentration, schedule, site, or result is suitable. Check source values and verify important results independently.
Does PeptideCalc provide medical or dosing advice?
No. PeptideCalc performs calculations and recordkeeping from values you enter and does not determine whether a medication, dose, administration site, rotation interval, or schedule is clinically appropriate.
